5th Annual Race a Success

The fifth annual Sabetha Firecracker 5k started under overcast skies and ended with 259 finishers, great pancakes, happy kids, and a new women's course record.

Cameron Schwehr of Denver, Colorado, led all finishers across the line, while Corrin Tanking of Hoyt, Kansas, passed through the finish in record time. In the Master's Division, Brenda Peschel of Axtell, Kansas, defended her title from last year, and Jeff Chowning of Colorado Springs, Colorado, finished on top of the men's side.
